Antoinette Minor

“My job is to speak up and tell my story

so that older generations understand

exactly what life as a millennial is.”

-Antoinette Minor

A voice for the millennial generation... and also president of the broke millennial club, treasurer of side hustle nation and a professional instastory addict...

Antoinette Minor is a fun and energetic blogger who is not afraid to tell her stories about the office even if her boss may be reading it! She began blogging as a young professional seeking to share her journey as a millennial in the workforce. “I felt like I was failed in college when it came to being career ready upon graduation. Where was the class on office politics? That would have been more useful than the battmiden class I took,” As she continues to learn the ropes of the corporate world, and now the trials and tribulations of entrepreneurship, readers can learn from Antoinette’s stories or just enjoy a good read.

After blogging for some time, Antoinette began focusing on marketing her blog via social media. "I found out that you can write an awesome blog post but no one would know if you didn't share it with the world." She began using social media to build an online platform and promote The Young Professionalist which lead her to opening her own social media marketing agency, TYP Social Media Co. Antoinette provides consultations to clients looking to expand via social media, educational workshops and also manages social media for small businesses throughout the country.

Most recently, Antoinette was recognized as one of Boom 103.9's 30 under 30 recipients and honored as a member of the Leadership Philadelphia Keeper and Connector's Class of 2018. She has been a guest for many Twitter chats and has been featured as a "must read blog" for many publications including GenTwenty. Antoinette is also the co-founder of the annual women's empowerment event, New Year, New You.

"Network your butt off.

Make your circle big and diverse.

You’ll never want for anything."

-Antoinette Minor

A Philadelphia native and resident, Antoinette enjoys spending time with her "first born" puppy Maci, listening to audio books and making Instastories. She also loves connecting those she meets with new contacts and resources as she is a true believer in building a tribe to better yourself. Antoinette holds a bachelors degree in public relations from Temple University and a masters degree in communications from Drexel University.
